Grade 6-12 literature series
Starting from initial concepts and prototypes, I effectively managed and art-directed the design team through all aspects of the finished product; basic grid, typography, special features, cover design, and more.
Halfway through an already compressed schedule, the deadline was cut in half. We were still able to meet the deadline, by doubling the staff. I kept track of schedules, and helped in hiring design team members. I kept the team on-target and pitched in to help with design problems during the real crunch times.
In addition to managing seven designers, I oversaw the color corrections for all the imagery within the selections.
